Baghdad: The Secretary-General of the Coordination Framework, Abbas al-Amiri, has confirmed that the Framework is making progress in its efforts to finalize the candidate for Prime Minister.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Amiri stated that there was no recent meeting of the Framework, and he dismissed media reports as speculation. He emphasized that the Framework is progressing perfectly in its understandings related to the selection of the Prime Minister candidate.
