Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior confirmed today that the Iraqi border with Syria is the most secure and fortified. The announcement underscores the current state of border security between the two countries, highlighting efforts to maintain stability in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri, Head of the Department of Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior, stated that all Iraqi borders are secure. He emphasized that the border shared with Syria is the most secure and fortified, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the nation.
