Baghdad: The General Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances has announced the arrest of a significant international drug trafficker within Syrian borders, followed by his extradition to Iraq. This operation was carried out in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in the Syrian Arab Republic.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the General Directorate revealed through a press release that the operation was executed with precision, leading to the arrest of the trafficker in Syria. The coordinated efforts between Iraqi and Syrian authorities facilitated the successful extradition of the trafficker to Iraq, marking a notable achievement in their ongoing efforts to combat international drug trafficking.
