Karbala: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi met with the Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim al-Khattabi, and members of the Provincial Council, in the presence of Member of Parliament Rabie al-Moussawi and several other members of Parliament. The local government delegation offered their congratulations to the Speaker on assuming his position, wishing him success in his national duties.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Halbousi expressed his pride in the achievements of the Karbala Governorate, affirming his full support for the province. He indicated that Karbala would be the first stop on his upcoming field visits to Iraqi provinces.
