Baghdad: Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the importance of proceeding with the completion of the electoral process according to the constitutional timelines.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his meeting with Mohammed al-Halbousi, Head of the Progress Party, where they discussed security developments in Syria, al-Hakim expressed his confidence in the readiness of the security forces. He emphasized the need to strengthen vigilance and preparedness for any eventuality. He also indicated that Iraq seeks to achieve stability in neighboring countries due to its direct impact on the sustainability of its internal stability, calling for intensified intelligence efforts and a firm and decisive approach to vulnerable areas.
