Baghdad: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations, Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Bahr Al-Uloom, engaged in discussions with the Turkish Ambassador, Anil Bora Inan, regarding the transfer of the presidency of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to Iraq.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that Bahr Al-Uloom hosted Ambassador Inan at the Ministry’s headquarters. The meeting focused on regional developments, the promotion of stability, and reinforcing cooperation between Iraq and Turkey to address current challenges.
Additionally, the dialogue included talks about the transition of the OIC presidency to Iraq, highlighting efforts to enhance bilateral relations in a way that serves the mutual interests of both nations.
