Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar experienced an increase this morning in Baghdad markets. The dollar was being traded at 149,300 dinars per 100 dollars at the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, reflecting a rise from the previous rate of 149,000 dinars per 100 dollars observed yesterday evening.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the currency exchange shops in Baghdad’s local markets reported a selling price of 149,750 dinars per 100 dollars, with the buying price standing at 148,750 dinars per 100 dollars. The trend was mirrored in Erbil, where the selling price of the dollar reached 149,500 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price was consistent at 148,750 dinars per 100 dollars.
