Baghdad: The Head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, received the head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Mohammed Saman Agha, on Monday. During their meeting, they discussed the political situation and ongoing dialogues to fulfill necessary requirements, highlighting the importance of finalizing the presidential election.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting also addressed the local government in Kirkuk Governorate. Emphasis was placed on the need to proceed with political agreements that uphold the principle of rotation and preserve the rights of all communities. This approach is aimed at stabilizing the governorate and working collaboratively to improve services, investment, and various other sectors, which will have a positive impact on the economic situation of its citizens.
