Baghdad: The Ministry of Culture discussed mechanisms for activating the National Security Strategy (Iraq First) 2025-2030.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release that Ismail Suleiman Hassan, Director General of the Children’s Culture House and Director of the Studies and Research Center, chaired a meeting of the Central Committee at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities. Hassan, who also serves as the Ministry’s representative and head of the Central Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the National Security Strategy, led the discussions in the presence of committee members.

The meeting focused on mechanisms for activating the strategy at the Ministry level. Discussions included developing tourist sites, supporting investment in tourism, protecting cultural and civilizational heritage, promoting community dialogue, consolidating national identity and citizenship values, and supporting programs for the most vulnerable groups. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening social stability and national security.
