Najaf: Angry protesters from the staff of the University of Kufa and the Najaf Education Directorate closed the gates of both the university and the directorate this morning, Monday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the closure of the gates followed three days of continuous sit-ins. The protests are part of the legitimate demands of university and educational staff to have their rights and financial entitlements restored, with a particular focus on degree allowances.
