Baghdad: Young Iraqi artist Israa Yassin has captivated audiences with her performances in several drama series airing during the current Ramadan season. Her participation includes roles in “Beit Al-Teen,” written and directed by Imran Al-Tamimi, “Al-Maqam,” penned by Hussein Al-Ghazi and directed by Ali Hadid, and “Mawsim Al-Rasas,” crafted by the Sin Writing Workshop and directed by Muhammad Jaafar. These series are being broadcast on Iraqi television throughout the month of Ramadan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Yassin expressed her enthusiasm for the diverse range of characters she has brought to life this season. In “Season of Bullets,” she plays Samar, a girl grappling with psychosis and severe depression, a role that she found particularly challenging. Additionally, she portrays Shaimaa in “The Shrine,” a character she thoroughly enjoyed, and Rahma, a rural woman in “The Clay House.” Yassin noted the difficulty of mastering the rural dialect for her role in “The Clay House,” but credited writer and director Imran Al-Tamimi for his supportive guidance in helping the cast achieve authenticity.

She emphasized the importance of dedication and collaboration with directors, stating that a committed actor can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
