Baghdad: The Supreme Committee tasked with organizing the funeral ceremonies for the martyr Ali Khamenei has issued a statement clarifying its exclusive role in managing the event. The committee emphasized that any information from websites, platforms, or agencies claiming to represent them is unofficial and should be considered speculation or unverified leaked information.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the committee asserted that it is the sole entity responsible for organizing the funeral and that Lieutenant General Saad Maan is the only official spokesperson authorized to make statements on the matter. The committee further noted that an officially formed media committee, under the leadership of Lieutenant General Maan, will release a detailed statement regarding the timing, ceremonies, and locations of the funeral, which will take place in Najaf and Karbala.
