Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, affirmed on Tuesday that the 1920 Revolution was a genuine national achievement. In a statement, al-Hakim said, “One hundred and six years have passed since Iraq’s immortal epic, the 1920 Revolution, which was a genuine national achievement, far removed from any foreign agenda.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim emphasized that the revolution demonstrated the unity of Iraqis as the secret of their strength, highlighting that their allegiance to the homeland surpasses all other considerations. He extended his condolences to the martyrs of the 1920 Revolution and prayed for the protection of Iraq and its people.
