Baghdad: A woman has taken her own life by hanging herself in her home located in the Iskandariya district, north of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Babylon Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, confirmed the incident, stating that the woman committed suicide by hanging. The police have transported her body to the forensic medicine department and have initiated an investigation into the incident.
