Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Terrorist Bombings in Damascus

Baghdad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the terrorist bombings that targeted Damascus, affirming Iraq’s rejection of all forms of terrorism, extremism, and violence, irrespective of the motives or justifications.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry highlighted its strongest condemnation of the bombings, which involved multiple explosive devices and resulted in injuries to several innocent civilians in the Syrian capital. The Ministry underscored that such acts represent a clear violation of civilian security and stability and aim to destabilize Syria.

The statement reiterated Iraq’s consistent position against terrorism, extremism, and violence, highlighting the nation’s unwavering stance on these issues. Additionally, the Ministry expressed Iraq’s solidarity with Syria in facing these terrorist attacks and extended wishes for a swift recovery to those injured.
