Iraqi Leaders Focus on Strengthening Government’s Efforts for National Interests


Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and National Security Advisor Qasim al-Aboudi emphasized on Tuesday the importance of supporting the government’s efforts to achieve Iraq’s best interests.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National Security Advisor’s media office stated in a press release that Qasim al-Aboudi met with Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to address the latest political and security developments at regional and international levels. The discussions were centered on enhancing Iraq’s relations with regional and international partners, aligning with the government program’s strategy of engaging with both brotherly and friendly nations.



The statement further detailed that the meeting underscored the importance of supporting the Iraqi government’s endeavors to serve the country’s best interests by building balanced foreign relations. Al-Aboudi praised the Iraqi Foreign Ministry’s efforts in enhancing Iraq’s foreign relations through principles of balance and effective diplomacy, recognizing Iraq’s significant role in fostering de-escalation and sustainable peace in the region.
