Washington: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi affirmed on Monday his determination to translate the strong Iraqi-American relations into economic and investment partnerships.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zaidi stated in a post on the (X) platform, which was monitored by the agency, "I am heading to Washington leading a government and business delegation, determined to translate the strength of Iraqi-U.S. relations into concrete economic and investment partnerships that open broader opportunities for cooperation in energy, technology, infrastructure, the digital economy, and finance."

Al-Zaidi also said, "Our objective is clear: to attract investment, transfer expertise, diversify the economy, and create jobs-advancing development and reinforcing Iraq's position as a trusted partner and an active contributor to regional stability and prosperity."
