Basra: The staff of the General Company for Electricity Transmission in the Southern Region has successfully completed maintenance on the 132 kV Shaiba-Karma Ali line, overcoming exceptionally difficult field conditions within the marshes.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Southern Electricity Transmission Media Office revealed in a press release that the North Basra networks-initiated maintenance work on the Shaiba-Karma line early in the morning. The focus was to repair a damaged wire on phase R at tower number 35, located in the Al-Shatt crossing area.

The statement further detailed the challenging conditions faced by the maintenance crew, highlighting that the work was conducted amidst high temperatures, difficult terrain, and surrounding environmental hurdles within the marshes.
