Muthanna: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance and leader of the National Wisdom Movement, has called for a state monopoly on the use of force, emphasizing that this should be achieved through dialogue and understanding, which are constitutional and legal requirements.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim’s remarks were made during a meeting with a group of female leaders from the National Wisdom Movement in Muthanna Governorate. He took the opportunity to congratulate them on the upcoming anniversaries of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth and the birth of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him).
During the meeting, al-Hakim urged the leaders to emulate the Prophet’s noble character, underlining the importance of mutual responsibility and the empowerment of competent women. He highlighted the significance of discovering women’s potential and noted that leadership is about influence and the necessity of serving citizens while enduring hardships for the benefit of the Iraqi people.
Al-Hakim addressed “the nature of the reform projects and the magnitude of the challenges they face,” urging for acceptance of these challenges and a clear explanation of the projects. He stated that for influence to be effective, “the influencer must possess persuasive power and a thorough understanding of the project.”
He reiterated his stance that “the state should have a monopoly on the use of force through dialogue and understanding,” supporting the anti-corruption campaign and stressing the importance of its continuation, with a focus on major cases.
