Baghdad: Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri engaged in discussions with the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, focusing on issues related to Iraqi schools and educational cooperation between Iraq and Turkey.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education announced in a press release that Minister al-Jubouri met with Ambassador Inan to deliberate on various joint educational matters. The discussions included the challenges faced by Iraqi schools situated in Turkey and the strategies to address these challenges. Additionally, the dialogue also covered the status of Turkish schools operating within Iraq.

The Ministry further revealed that there is a strategic plan to establish an Iraqi school in Turkey. This initiative aims to facilitate Iraqi students residing in Turkey to pursue their education in alignment with the Iraqi educational curriculum.

Minister al-Jubouri emphasized the need for practical solutions to the issues discussed and highlighted the importance of sustained coordination with Turkish authorities in the realm of education.
