Jeddah: An Iraqi diplomatic delegation participated in the 23rd Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the OIC, Ambassador Mawloud Ahmed Musleh Al-Mashhadani, led the Iraqi delegation. The session took place at the OIC General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah, with Al-Mashhadani representing Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
The session included the election of Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed as the new Secretary-General of the OIC. Additionally, the meeting involved discussions and debates on various issues on the session’s agenda.
