Baghdad:President Nizar Amidi emphasized the significance of enhancing relations between Iraq and Lebanon and broadening cooperation areas between the two nations.
According to Iraqi News Agency, President Amedi received Ambassador Mohammed Reza al-Husseini at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad. During the meeting, Ambassador al-Husseini presented his credentials to the President as the new Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Lebanon.
The President underscored the necessity of developing Iraqi-Lebanese relations to serve mutual interests and called for effective diplomatic representation to strengthen Iraq’s global presence. Ambassador Mohammed Reza al-Husseini committed to advancing relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration in political, economic, and cultural sectors, aiming to enhance communication between the two countries.
