Tuz Khurmatu:The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have announced the arrest of a suspect accused of affiliation with the banned Baath Party in the Tuz Khurmatu district.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the PMF’s 63rd Brigade intelligence unit, in collaboration with the PMF Intelligence Directorate’s Northern and East Tigris Intelligence Department, conducted the arrest. This action was taken under Article 9 of the law banning the Baath Party.

The arrest operation was executed based on an arrest warrant from the First Karkh Investigation Court. It followed over three months of comprehensive intelligence monitoring.
