Baghdad:Twelve crew members of a Panama-flagged tanker were injured in an attack while the vessel was passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi condemned the attack on the commercial vessel MT On Peace, which was hit by a projectile.

The injured crew members have been evacuated to nearby ports in Oman, where they are receiving necessary medical treatment and care. These incidents underscore the increasing risks to maritime traffic and the safety of crucial waterways in the region.
