Baghdad:Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of Petr Kavan, the new Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, at the ministry’s headquarters.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Foreign Minister welcomed Ambassador Kavan and expressed hopes for his success in fulfilling his diplomatic duties. He assured that the Foreign Ministry is prepared to offer the necessary support and facilities to aid in his mission, aiming to enhance bilateral relations between Iraq and the Czech Republic.
Discussions between the two officials focused on strengthening the bilateral ties and exploring avenues for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, which would benefit both nations and their citizens.
Ambassador Kavan conveyed his gratitude to Minister Hussein and reiterated the Czech Republic’s commitment to reinforcing its relationship with Iraq, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration and coordination in the future.
