Baghdad:Al-Araji emphasized the importance of complementary efforts between the executive and legislative branches and the need to support state institutions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji, who serves as the Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, met with MP Ahmed Karim al-Delfi, a member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee. Their discussion focused on security-related issues, rapid regional developments affecting Iraq’s security and stability, and how the committee can support and enhance the performance of security and military institutions.

Al-Araji underscored the significance of synergy between the executive and legislative branches and the necessity of supporting state institutions through necessary legislation, including the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Law. He stressed that these efforts should meet institutional requirements and boost performance within constitutional and legal frameworks. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of continued coordination and institutional action to confront challenges and strengthen security and stability.
