Baghdad:The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, has declared that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened through threats or pressure, emphasizing that Iran will not yield.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Rezaei stated that the US Treasury Secretary’s predictions were misguided and lacked credibility from the onset. He dismissed the recent efforts as a short-lived propaganda campaign.

Rezaei further insisted that Washington would face defeat in the ongoing economic confrontation, similar to its previous failures in military engagements.
