Baghdad:Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Farhad Amin Atroshi held a meeting with Minister of Finance Falih Al-Sari to discuss fiscal and economic policy issues, along with the Ministry’s future plans.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at Atroshi’s official office in Baghdad, attended by heads of the Kurdistan blocs and several Members of Parliament.

Atroshi stressed the necessity of creating a unified approach to tackle financial and economic challenges between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government concerning the general budget law, following constitutional guidelines.

He further emphasized the importance of the House of Representatives passing the law in a way that addresses economic challenges and fulfills the needs for essential services for the populace.
