Badra:The Ministry of Oil has launched the pilot injection project at the Badra oil field, initiating pumping operations that aim to gradually reach 800 cubic meters per day by the first quarter of 2027.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Mohammed Yassin Hassan, Director General of the Midland Oil Company, confirmed the start of the pumping operations through a dedicated pumping station at the field. The operations have commenced at an initial rate of 100 cubic meters per day into well P-07, with the goal of improving production efficiency and the performance of the wells and reservoir.
The project’s implementation is part of efforts to develop methods for supporting reservoir pressure and enhancing production efficiency. This follows the completion of technical preparations, which involved laying surface pipelines from the operations center to the well site and procuring and installing necessary equipment and materials.
