Baghdad:Iraqi Ambassador to Russia Abdul Karim Hashem Mustafa announced that Iraq and Russia are cooperating in the field of film archives.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Mustafa stated that the collaboration involves joint efforts with the Russian film archive to handle the archive of Iraqi artistic documents and old films.

He highlighted that cultural exchanges between the two countries are extensive, with many Iraqi writers and researchers regularly engaging with Russian counterparts. This cultural exchange has persisted despite current challenges.

Mustafa also noted that cooperation extends to several other areas, which is fostering the development of bilateral relations and allowing both countries to leverage their respective capabilities.
