Hanoi:President of the Republic Nizar Amidi received congratulatory cables from distinguished leaders on the occasion of the National Day. The messages were sent by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV expressed his best wishes for Iraq and its citizens, hoping for peace and solidarity across the nation. He also highlighted the significance of the sixtieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Holy See and Iraq.

King Abdullah II of Jordan extended his congratulations on behalf of himself, the people, and the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, wishing President Amidi good health and well-being, and hoping for continued progress and prosperity for Iraq.

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman also conveyed his sincere congratulations to President Amidi, praying for sustained security and stability in Iraq, and wishing for further development and prosperity for the country and its citizens.
