Erbil:A high-precision operation by the Federal Police Intelligence Agency has led to the apprehension of a wanted terrorist operative.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was carried out under the direct supervision of the Undersecretary for Federal Intelligence and Investigations, in collaboration with security authorities in the Kurdistan Region. Utilizing precise intelligence and technical analysis, the forces successfully located and detained the individual.

The suspect, wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, is accused of involvement in multiple past terrorist attacks. During the arrest, authorities confiscated foreign currency, passports, and various bank cards found in the suspect’s possession. The Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency reiterated its commitment to tracking down terrorist elements and ensuring they face justice.
