Baghdad:The “World Investor Day” conference commenced today under the auspices of Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the event aims to underscore the pivotal role of the Securities Commission in regulating and developing the capital market, promoting investment culture, and protecting investors. This initiative is part of the activities for World Investor Week.
Faisal Al-Haimus, Chairman of the Securities Commission, discussed the Commission’s work, achievements, and future goals for enhancing the investment landscape.
Zulfiqar Hafiz, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Iraq Stock Exchange, praised the Commission’s progress and accomplishments, highlighting their impact on bolstering the Iraqi economy, encouraging investment, attracting investors, and fostering private sector involvement.
The conference included interactive panel discussions addressing various financial investment topics.
