Nineveh: A comprehensive security conference was convened by Nineveh Governor and Head of the Security Committee, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, to address the pressing issue of securing the western borders.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil stated that the conference reviewed security plans focusing on the Iraqi-Syrian border, with detailed discussions on the deployment of military units. These units include the Western Nineveh Operations Command, the Popular Mobilization Forces, and the border forces.
Al-Dakhil highlighted the critical need for enhanced security coordination to maintain the stability and security of the province’s western borders. The conference saw participation from key security figures, including the Nineveh Operations Commander, the Chief of Staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the province, as well as commanders from various security agencies and departments.
