Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji stressed the importance of expediting the fulfillment of constitutional obligations within the legal framework, in a way that supports political stability and strengthens the democratic process. He emphasized the necessity of prioritizing the country’s best interests and adopting a spirit of national responsibility that contributes to unifying ranks and bringing political forces together under the umbrella of the nation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, his media office stated in a press release that Al-Araji received the head of the Turkmen parliamentary bloc, MP Arshad al-Salihi, where they reviewed the current political and national issues, within the framework of keenness to enhance stability and consolidate the approach of institutional work.

Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding dialogue and understanding among the various political forces, as this is the essential approach to addressing current challenges and moving forward with the reform and reconstruction process. They also supported efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability throughout the country, in a way that responds to the aspirations of citizens and strengthens their confidence in state institutions.
