Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, and Abdul Hussein al-Moussawi, head of the National Nahj Alliance, emphasized the importance of constructive meetings between political forces to fulfill constitutional requirements according to the established timelines.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National Nahj Alliance’s media office stated in a press release: “Al-Moussawi met with al-Hakim today, Wednesday. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Iraq and the ongoing dialogues to complete the presidential elections and form the cabinet, based on a government program that addresses the challenges and includes the urgent priorities and needs on the national scene.”
Both sides stressed the importance of sustaining constructive meetings between political forces to fulfill constitutional requirements according to the established timelines. This will strengthen confidence in the democratic process and contribute to realizing electoral pledges and programs on the ground.
