Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi met with the Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, Cui Wei, to discuss bilateral relations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Parliament’s media office stated that the Chinese Ambassador congratulated the Speaker on his election to the sixth parliamentary session, wishing him success. The meeting addressed strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as a number of issues of common interest.
