Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi emphasized the importance of the role played by Iraqi diplomatic missions in strengthening relations with friendly countries. A statement from his office highlighted this focus during a meeting with Ambassador Ali Shamran on the occasion of his new diplomatic assignment as Iraq's ambassador to Spain.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, al-Halbousi underscored the significance of diplomatic missions in fostering relations with friendly nations and enhancing cooperation to serve mutual interests.
