Sulaymaniyah: The Head of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Representative Arshad Al-Salihi, conducted a field visit to Susa Correctional Facility in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, to review the conditions of the inmates and follow up on the progress of work in the correctional institution.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Salihi was accompanied during the visit by the prison’s legal director, Alan Sherzad Khader. They reviewed the service and health aspects inside the prison, ensuring that the standards met necessary requirements.

The visit also included a tour of the administrative formations, during which records and data were reviewed. Furthermore, Al-Salihi held direct meetings with several inmates to listen to their requests and complaints. He emphasized the judiciary’s commitment to implementing the General Amnesty Law.
