Al-Zaidi Orders Investigation into Iraqi Fisherman’s Death

Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Army Chief of Staff, and relevant security agencies in Basra Governorate to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Iraqi fisherman Najm Abdullah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Zaidi emphasized the necessity of implementing all legal measures to prevent similar incidents in the future and to safeguard the lives and property of Iraqi citizens. The Prime Minister's directive underscores the government's commitment to ensuring justice and enhancing the security of its people, particularly those in vulnerable professions such as fishing.
