Ammar al-Hakim Emphasizes Zero Tolerance for Public Funds Embezzlement

Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, has declared an uncompromising stance against individuals found guilty of embezzling public funds. Al-Hakim stated unequivocally that there will be "no leniency or tolerance" for such offenses, emphasizing the importance of accountability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim expressed his firm support for the judiciary and the government in their efforts to pursue and hold corrupt individuals accountable. He emphasized that these efforts should apply to everyone, irrespective of their positions or affiliations. Al-Hakim made it clear that neither affiliation nor position should allow anyone to escape accountability once their guilt is legally established.

Al-Hakim also reiterated his call for public trials of high-ranking corrupt officials, reinforcing his commitment to transparency and justice in addressing corruption.
