Anbar Narcotics Directorate Dismantles 19-Suspect Network and Seizes 408,000 Captagon Pills

Baghdad: The Anbar Narcotics Directorate announced on Thursday the dismantling of a network consisting of 19 suspects and the seizure of 408,000 Captagon pills.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the directorate stated, "The Anbar Narcotics Directorate dealt a decisive blow to drug trafficking gangs after obtaining judicial approvals. A high-quality intelligence operation resulted in the dismantling of a criminal network consisting of 19 suspects, including two women, and the seizure of 408,000 Captagon pills, equivalent to 68 kilograms."

The statement further emphasized that "this operation confirms that the war being waged by the Directorate against the merchants of death is being conducted with unwavering determination, and that the dens of crime have become exposed to intelligence efforts and field pursuit."
