Baghdad: The Baghdad Operations Command announced its readiness and combat preparedness, with high morale.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated: "In implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and under the direct orders of Lieutenant General Walid al-Tamimi, Commander of Baghdad Operations, and with the presence of commanders and officers, our security formations have begun taking the necessary measures to ensure speed, accuracy, and discipline in carrying out their assigned tasks and duties."
The statement further explained: "This comes with the aim of maintaining the high level of readiness of all units and enhancing their ability to perform their duties in a way that contributes to consolidating security and stability and protecting citizens and public interests."
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directed raising the level of security readiness and combat preparedness of the security and military forces. The Security Media Cell stated, "The directive includes conducting training exercises and troop movements, as part of maintaining the high readiness of all security forces."
It further explained, "This step aims to enhance the forces' ability to perform their duties, contributing to the consolidation of security and stability and the protection of citizens and public interests."
