Baghdad:The Baghdad Operations Command has announced the arrest of several suspects and the seizure of unlicensed weapons and ammunition within the past 24 hours. The arrests were made under various legal provisions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command’s units from the 2nd and 5th Divisions of the Federal Police conducted proactive operations, supported by intelligence services. These operations resulted in apprehending individuals involved in offenses such as threats, intentional homicide, and illegal possession of weapons. Additionally, unlicensed arms, ammunition, and other materials were confiscated.

The Command stated that the detainees, along with the seized items, have been handed over to the relevant authorities for the completion of legal proceedings.
