Baghdad President of the Republic Barham Salih congratulated the workers of Iraq on the occasion of the International Labor Day.
“On International Labor Day, we salute with great appreciation and respect the nation’s builders and sincere helpers who endured the conditions, the complex circumstances, and the successive crises to continue building Iraq,” Salih said in a tweet on Twitter.
He added, “We must intensify the capabilities, energies and synergies to advance the wheel of development and progress in a way that contributes to a better tomorrow for our people.”
