Basra: The Basra local government and the National Migration Resources Center in Iraq have signed a memorandum of understanding to support youth and enhance vocational training.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Deputy Governor of Basra for Labor and Social Affairs, Muhannad Abdul Rahim Al-Saad, emphasized in a press release that the National Migration Resources Center offers a variety of services. These services include raising awareness among young people about the risks associated with irregular migration, training job seekers in skills required by the modern labor market, and coordinating with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to provide low-interest loans to Basra residents who have returned from abroad.
Al-Saad highlighted that the establishment of the Migration Resources Center marks a significant step towards integrating young people into the labor market.
