Baghdad: The Cabinet has announced the suspension of official working hours in Baghdad on Thursday of next week in observance of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa bin Jaafar al-Kadhim (PBUH).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision was made during the Council of Ministers’ regular session on Wednesday. This suspension will be in effect on Thursday, January 15, 2026, allowing citizens to commemorate the important occasion.
