Baghdad:Deputy Speaker of Parliament Farhad Amin Atrushi conveyed his congratulations to the Yazidi community on the occasion of the Jamma Festival. Atrushi emphasized the significance of national unity and encouraged peaceful coexistence among the country’s diverse communities.

According to the Iraqi News Agency, In a statement from his Media Office, Atrushi extended his best wishes to Yazidis both within Iraq and abroad, highlighting the importance of religious tolerance. He urged the federal government to facilitate the return of displaced persons to their original homes, to uncover the fate of kidnapped and missing Yazidis, and to ensure their rights are protected. Additionally, he called for providing material and moral compensation and creating conditions for a dignified life for the Yazidis, wishing them a joyful and happy holiday.
