Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar rose in Baghdad’s markets on Wednesday evening at the close of trading.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dollar saw an increase in Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 148,100 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars, up from 147,500 dinars per 100 US dollars earlier in the day.
The selling price at currency exchange shops in Baghdad’s local markets also rose, reaching 148,500 dinars per 100 US dollars, while the buying price was 147,500 dinars per 100 US dollars.
In Erbil, the dollar also rose, with the selling price reaching 148,400 dinars per 100 US dollars and the buying price 148,350 dinars per 100 US dollars.
