Egyptian Media Personality Sarah Khalifa Faces Death Penalty in Major Drug Case

Cairo: Egyptian media personality and producer Sarah Khalifa, along with 12 other defendants, has been referred by the Cairo Criminal Court to the Grand Mufti of Egypt for his religious opinion on their death sentences. This development is part of the highly publicized "Major Drug Case."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Egyptian judiciary issued a death sentence against Khalifa and the other defendants in a case involving the manufacture and trafficking of narcotics.
